Buy and sell ladders. A price tells you what a card is worth. A ladder tells you what to do at the table: exact buy and sell targets for every venue (eBay fees netted out, cash at a show priced differently) and a verdict on any asking price: steal, buy, fair, rich, or pass. PriceDepth stops at the price.
AI pre-grade estimates with a public accuracy record. Photos in, an estimated grade out, with the reasons. Every estimate is tracked against the real grades that come back, hits and misses alike, on our accuracy page. PriceDepth publishes a confidence score for its prices but no tracked accuracy record for any estimate.
Withholding over guessing. When a card does not have enough recorded sales, we say so instead of publishing a number. A confidence score on a thin number is information; no number at all is a decision. We think the second is more honest, and it is the harder choice to sell, which is why we made it.
